Mindfulness Workshops

Additional Information

 Ivy Child, in partnership with the Center for Parents and Teachers, is hosting a series of 8 mindfulness workshops beginning this Fall. Our goals are to: 

· Share the benefits of mindfulness to help reduce and manage stress/anxiety, improve wellness, strengthen relationships, build healthy habits

· Provide tools and strategies to support self-care and use with children and youth

· Enhance community well-being. 


 These are "stand alone sessions" and do not require participants to have attended any of the previous ones.  Each is facilitated by a different presenter, steeped in Mindfulness practice. All workshops: 7:00-8:30pm @ Concord Carlisle High School - Learning Commons.


Fall (September -December) 2019

September 25: Mindfulness for Busy Parents, Teachers, and Caregivers

November 20:  Mindfulness for Improving Performance and Reducing Stress

December 11:  Mindfulness for Balance in Work and Life 


 Winter (Feb-March) 2020

February 12: (virtual online session)  Mindful Parenting

March 24: Fostering Social and Emotional Learning Through Mindfulness


Spring (April-June) 2020

April 9: Mindfulness and Technology; Striking a Balance
